The Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe TD, published the Finance Bill 2021 on the Thursday, 21 October 2021 following approval by Government.
Finance Bill 2021 sets out the legislative changes required to implement many of the Budget day announcements. Many of the provisions contained in Finance Bill 2021 relate to the tax measures already announced by the Minister for Finance in his Budget speech. The Bill also includes several measures which were not previously announced. The Bill will now progress through Dáil Éireann, the Irish Parliament, where it may be further amended, to be enacted into law before the end of the year.
